Staff Software Engineer - Managed Kubernetes

Job Description

Lead the technical vision and development of Lambda’s bare-metal Managed Kubernetes platform and related orchestration services for AI and HPC workloads. Drive cross-team infrastructure decisions, operational resilience, technical standards, and engineering leadership across compute, networking, storage, and security.

Requirements: Requires 10+ years of software, platform, or SRE experience, including at least five years focused on Kubernetes at scale, expert Kubernetes knowledge, and production-quality Go and Python skills. Candidates should bring GPU orchestration expertise, broad infrastructure and distributed-systems experience, and a proven record of technical leadership; managed-service experience and high-performance networking knowledge are also important.
