Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Design, document, and release production-ready electric propulsion and battery system hardware, including motors, structures, and assemblies. Coordinate with engineering, quality, sourcing, manufacturing, and testing teams to resolve technical issues and transition products from prototype to production.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, and a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering is also considered; approximately 15 years of relevant experience is preferred, with openness to capable early-career candidates. Candidates should be proficient in SolidWorks and engineering drawings, and have experience with mechanical assemblies, design for manufacturing, controlled engineering documentation, PLM, and manufacturing support; Ansys and aerospace or electric machine experience are advantageous.
