Mechanical Engineer - EV Battery

Job Description

Own EV battery-pack mechanical design from concept through production launch, including architecture, CAD models, drawings, interfaces, materials, and manufacturing considerations. Lead design reviews, DFMEA, validation and root-cause resolution while coordinating with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements: Requires a mechanical engineering bachelor's degree or related discipline and typically 10+ years of relevant experience, including ownership of complex hardware through a complete development cycle. Candidates should have substantial hands-on CAD and production-drawing experience, expertise in battery-pack mechanical design, GD&T, manufacturing, validation, and technical leadership; a master's degree and direct EV battery production experience are preferred.
