Platform Software Engineer 2

Job Description

Develop and test focused enhancements to OpenJDK JIT compilers, investigate correctness and performance defects, and validate fixes across platforms and Java features. Analyze generated code, diagnostics, and benchmarks while collaborating with Java platform and OCI teams to maintain reliable Java execution.

Requirements: Candidates need experience developing or debugging compilers, virtual machines, runtimes, or comparable systems software, including hands-on JVM and OpenJDK experience. Strong C++ and Java skills, knowledge of compiler concepts and processor architecture, and experience with testing, performance analysis, assembly, and garbage collection interactions are required.
