Software Engineer Embedded Systems I (Full Time) - United States

Job Description

Develop and maintain software and tools for Cisco core products, including operating systems, firmware, and networking stacks. Support hardware compatibility, network performance, and security through low-level programming, hardware-software integration, and process improvements.

Requirements: Candidates must meet one of the stated early-career education and experience pathways, with relevant study or experience in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field. Required technical qualifications include C programming, embedded Linux and operating system fundamentals, networking knowledge, automation scripting, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
