Mechanical Engineer I

Job Description

Design and document mechanical hardware for rapid prototyping and product development, including creating and releasing drawings and incorporating design changes. Support additive manufacturing workflows, coordinate with suppliers, perform 3D scanning, and manage prototype requests through fabrication, integration, and testing.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, engineering science, mathematics, or another engineering discipline is required by the start date. Candidates must be familiar with 3D CAD modeling, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings, and Microsoft Office; U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are also required.
