Staff Java Software Engineer - Specialty Pharmacy

Job Description

Lead and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions, microservices, and APIs for CVS Health Specialty’s next-generation pharmacy platform. Guide engineering practices through code reviews, technical collaboration, mentorship, proof-of-concept development, and resolution of complex system issues.

Requirements: Requires 7+ years of enterprise software delivery experience, including 5+ years with Java and Spring Boot, cloud solutions, and microservices or APIs; also requires experience with CI/CD automation and Agile development. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, while experience with generative or agentic AI, healthcare, and full-stack technologies is preferred.
