Staff Software AI Engineer

Job Description

Define the architecture and technical direction for a reusable agent platform, including orchestration, persistent state, enterprise tool and data access, evaluation, security, and governance. Lead hands-on implementation of critical components while establishing production standards for reliability, observability, quality, latency, and cost, and mentoring engineers across teams.

Requirements: Requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, expert-level Python, technical leadership of complex production systems, and experience shipping and operating LLM-based or agentic applications with measurable impact. Candidates should have deep expertise in agent design and distributed backend systems, cloud deployment, enterprise security and permissions, and a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
