Principal Software Engineer

Job Description

Define and evolve architecture for core systems and products, and provide hands-on technical leadership for strategic projects. Align engineering work with product and machine learning priorities, address scaling challenges, mentor engineers, and champion reliability and sustainable engineering practices.

Requirements: Requires 10 or more years of professional software development experience, experience designing and scaling distributed systems and real-time applications, and a record of leading technical strategy and cross-team architecture. Candidates should be proficient in a backend systems language and have strong system design, performance optimization, and fault-tolerance skills; experience productionizing machine learning or building systems that interact with the physical world is preferred.
