Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Level 2/3 - Dulles

Job Description

Perform thermal analysis, design, and testing for spacecraft systems, subsystems, materials, and structural components. Analyze requirements, develop and evaluate design solutions, document results, and coordinate test programs.

Requirements: Level 2 requires a STEM bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience, or a master's degree and no experience; Level 3 requires a STEM bachelor's degree and five years of experience, or a master's degree and three years of experience. Both levels require experience with thermal engineering analysis, design, or testing of structures and experience using a spacecraft thermal analysis tool such as Thermal Desktop or SINDA; spacecraft thermal testing, MATLAB, and an active security clearance are preferred.
