Engineering Technician 2/3

Job Description

Collect, handle, package, store, and dispose of solid and liquid hazardous waste while operating waste disposal facilities and supporting landfill and heavy equipment operations. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal, environmental, and DOT requirements.

Requirements: A high school diploma or GED and a Class A CDL are required, with at least 2 years of related experience for Level 2 or 4 years for Level 3. Preferred qualifications include chemical and environmental regulatory knowledge, experience with reactive or explosive operations and heavy equipment, and HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain it.
