Senior Flight Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop, test, and maintain embedded flight software for aircraft systems, including flight control, navigation, communications, and avionics, while collaborating with hardware and systems engineers. Create software requirements and technical documentation, support safety-critical compliance, and participate in reviews, debugging, and system-level tests and simulations.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering or a related field, at least five years of embedded flight software development experience, and professional C/C++ programming experience. Preferred qualifications include RTOS or embedded Linux experience, familiarity with avionics hardware interfaces and safety-critical processes such as DO-178C or MIL-516C, and knowledge of flight control, navigation, and avionics systems.
