Senior, Software Engineer (Backend)

Job Description

Design and operate high-throughput, low-latency services and streaming and batch data pipelines that support offer selection, pricing, and production machine-learning models. Lead technical reviews and cross-team design discussions, build experimentation and decision-quality tools, and use AI-assisted development to improve delivery.

Requirements: Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, including three or more years with Java and/or Python, plus a strong foundation in distributed systems and experience operating scalable, highly available microservices. They should have hands-on streaming-system and public-cloud experience, and be able to own ambiguous problems and communicate technical decisions across teams.
