Founding Software Engineer

Job Description

Build and operate systems for market data ingestion, research, trading execution, and trader-facing products, including data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and autonomous agent workflows. Own projects end to end from problem definition and design through implementation, deployment, and operation, while helping shape the team's technical direction.

Requirements: Candidates should have experience owning production software end to end, strong systems judgment, and depth in at least one relevant area such as distributed systems, data infrastructure, full-stack engineering, research infrastructure, or applied AI. They should have evidence of building useful systems from 0 to 1, work independently, use AI coding agents exceptionally well while remaining accountable for shipped code, and be willing to work in person in Palo Alto five days per week.
