Mechanical Engineer, Plant Process Systems

Job Description

Own the lifecycle mechanical design of balance-of-plant systems and components for thermal energy storage projects, including high-temperature piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and steam-generation equipment. Perform thermal-mechanical analyses, select suitable components and vendors, and develop tests to validate system performance, assembly, and lifetime.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering field and/or at least four years of industrial applications engineering experience, with demonstrated experience solving novel engineering problems through commercial deployment. Candidates should have experience with industrial mechanical equipment, elevated-temperature design above 400 °C, process-fluid hazards, and applicable piping and pressure-vessel codes.
