Water/Wastewater Engineer in Training

Job Description

Assist engineers and project managers with the design and construction of drinking water and wastewater infrastructure, including preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Support construction observation and administration, prepare technical reports and presentations, and occasionally assist survey crews with field data gathering and construction staking.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field is required, along with Fundamentals of Engineering certification or the ability to obtain it. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to travel are required; a master's degree, relevant water-project internship experience, and AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience are preferred.
