Software Engineer, Strategic Defense

Job Description

Develop and own software solutions for strategic defense command-and-control products, including designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting features used in real-world environments. Collaborate with engineering teams and end users to plan, build, test, and deploy complex systems, with travel of 10–30% to support field work.

Requirements: Applicants should have 3–8+ years of production software experience in languages such as C++, Rust, Go, or Python, and experience owning software features end-to-end and debugging unfamiliar systems. They must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance and be able to explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers; experience in robotics, networking, distributed or real-time systems, and air defense C2 is preferred.
