Senior Software Engineer, Strategic Defense (Active Clearance)

Job Description

Develop and own software solutions for strategic defense command-and-control products, including designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining features used in real-world environments. Collaborate with engineering teams and end users to plan, build, test, and deploy complex systems, balancing user needs with engineering constraints.

Requirements: Applicants must hold and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance or higher and have 3–12+ years of production software development experience in languages such as C++, Rust, Go, or Python. They should have end-to-end feature ownership, debugging experience, sound judgment amid incomplete requirements, and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs; relevant education and experience in defense C2, robotics, networking, distributed systems, or real-time systems are preferred.
