Thermo-Mechanical Engineer II

Job Description

Design, model, and analyze heat exchangers, piping, manifolds, and mechanical interfaces to meet thermal, structural, pressure, and installation requirements. Support manufacturing and hardware validation, define operating limits, coordinate across teams, and investigate failures to improve reliability.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or physics-based field, at least two years of mechanical or thermal engineering experience, and knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, materials, and pressure-containing components. CAD and engineering analysis experience is required; preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, high-temperature systems, FEA/CFD, ASME codes, fabrication, and hardware testing experience.
