Software Development Engineer III

Job Description

Design and build services and software products for Blue Origin’s procurement platform, spanning sourcing, requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, supplier lifecycle, inventory, manufacturing, and quality. Improve reliability and delivery through monitoring and alerting, operational excellence, technical design reviews, scalable development practices, and mentoring.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, at least five years of professional software development experience, experience researching and incorporating modern AI/ML tools, and proficiency with a major cloud platform. Strong project management skills are required; preferred qualifications include supply chain systems, cloud architecture, microservices, data platforms, and AI/ML solution experience.
