Software Engineer I

Job Description

Design, develop, test, and support software components for medical diagnostic instrumentation, translating requirements into maintainable implementations and automated tests. Troubleshoot defects, document designs and test results, participate in reviews, and collaborate across software, systems, and test teams while following quality and regulatory processes.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in a listed technical discipline or a related field is required, along with demonstrated object-oriented programming proficiency and experience using a modern programming language such as C#, C++, Java, or Python. Candidates should understand software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, debugging, and unit testing; internships, relevant project experience, Git, Agile/Scrum, and regulated-system experience are preferred.
