Mechanical Engineering Department Manager - Arlington, VA

Job Description

Lead the Washington, DC-area mechanical engineering departments and support engineering operations across the company, including developing technical and operational processes and serving as a technical expert. Oversee engineering plans, project budgets and timelines, quality review, collaboration and presentations, as well as recruitment, hiring, coaching, and staff leadership.

Requirements: Requires more than 10 years of mechanical MEP design experience, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and a PE license; supervisory experience is a plus. Candidates should have expert building-code knowledge, strong technical writing and interpersonal skills, Revit proficiency, knowledge of sustainable certification programs, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
