Sr. Software Engineer (Software Engineer, Backend/AI (Remote)

Job Description

Design, build, and own backend APIs, services, data models, and cloud applications, using AI-assisted development tools across coding, testing, debugging, and refactoring. Maintain secure, reliable, scalable software and deployment workflows while collaborating on architecture, mentoring engineers, and improving system performance and engineering practices.

Requirements: Requires 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, substantial backend development expertise, and hands-on use of AI coding assistants with the ability to validate their output. Candidates should have experience with APIs, production databases, cloud deployment (preferably AWS), CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, and secure software practices; U.S. work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship is required.
