Principal Software Engineer

Job Description

Own the full development lifecycle for storage management and automation tools, including architecture, implementation, testing, packaging, build pipelines, and releases. Maintain integrations across storage systems, host operating systems, hypervisors, containers, and Ansible workflows, while investigating field issues and keeping documentation and release processes current.

Requirements: Requires at least seven years of Python development focused on systems or CLI tools, enterprise storage experience, strong Linux skills, and experience with RPM/DEB packaging, remote host communication, containers, and CI/CD. Ansible development, enterprise storage arrays, hypervisors, Windows or AIX host management, Python ORM experience, AI-assisted tooling, and Podman with systemd are preferred.
