Mechanical Design Engineer - Process Piping Systems

Job Description

Design and optimize facility piping systems, size mechanical components, and prepare or update drawings, plans, and specifications in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Perform engineering calculations and safety checks, support procurement and vendor evaluations, and assist with factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is sought, along with at least two years of hands-on experience in piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, pipe-stress concepts, and relevant codes and safety practices; familiarity with drafting and analysis tools is preferred, and the successful candidate must obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
