Senior Mechanical Engineer – Design

Job Description

Design, modify, and optimize facility piping systems, including sizing mechanical components and preparing compliant drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Perform engineering calculations and safety checks, support procurement and vendor evaluations, and assist with factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is sought, along with at least two years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, pipe-stress concepts, relevant codes and safety practices, and drafting or analysis tools; the successful candidate must obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
