Senior Mechanical Engineer – Design

Job Description

Design and optimize facility piping systems, size mechanical components, prepare and update technical drawings and specifications, and perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, and stress analyses. Support safety and quality reviews, procurement evaluations, factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and system troubleshooting under senior staff guidance.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least two years of hands-on experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, pipe-stress concepts, relevant codes and safety practices, and drafting or analysis tools; the role also requires obtaining and maintaining a Q security clearance.
