Senior Mechanical Engineer – Design

Job Description

Design and optimize facility piping systems, size mechanical components, and prepare or update drawings, plans, and specifications. Perform engineering calculations and safety checks, support procurement and vendor evaluations, and assist with factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and at least two years of relevant hands-on experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, pipe-stress concepts, and applicable codes and safety practices; drafting or analysis software experience is preferred, and the successful candidate must obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
