Mechanical Design Engineer - Process Piping Systems

Job Description

Design and modify facility piping systems, size mechanical components, prepare and update drawings and specifications, and perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, and stress-related analyses. Support safety and quality reviews, procurement evaluations, factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior engineers’ guidance.

Requirements: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and at least two years of relevant hands-on experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Practical equipment-sizing experience, familiarity with calculations, codes and safety practices, and exposure to drafting or analysis tools are sought; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
