Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Design and optimize facility piping systems, size mechanical components, prepare and update technical drawings and specifications, and perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, and stress checks. Support safety and quality reviews, procurement evaluations, factory acceptance tests, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior staff guidance.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is sought, along with at least two years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, calculations, relevant codes and safety practices, and drafting or analysis tools; they must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
