Mechanical Design Engineer - Process Piping Systems

Job Description

Design and modify facility piping systems, size mechanical components, prepare and update technical drawings and specifications, and perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, and stress-related analyses. Support safety and quality reviews, procurement evaluations, factory acceptance tests, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior engineers’ guidance.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least two years of relevant hands-on experience in piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, basic calculations and stress concepts, relevant codes and safety practices, and drafting or analysis tools; they must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
