Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Design and optimize facility piping systems, size mechanical components, prepare and update drawings and specifications, and support engineering analyses, safety reviews, and procurement. Assist with factory acceptance tests, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior staff.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least two years of relevant hands-on experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, pipe-stress concepts, applicable codes and safety practices, and drafting or analysis tools; they must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
