Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Design and optimize facility piping and fluid systems, including component sizing, mechanical documentation, calculations, and safety and compliance checks. Support procurement, vendor evaluations, factory acceptance tests, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior engineers.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and at least two years of hands-on experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, pipe-stress concepts, and relevant codes and tools; they must also be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
