Mechanical Design Engineer - Process Piping Systems

Job Description

Design, modify, and optimize facility piping systems, including sizing pumps, motors, heaters, blowers, valves, and pressure vessels. Prepare and maintain technical drawings and specifications, perform engineering calculations and safety checks, support procurement, and assist with field inspections, testing, and troubleshooting.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is sought, along with at least two years of hands-on experience in piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, pipe-stress concepts, relevant codes and safety practices, and must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
