Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, develop, test, document, deploy, maintain, and improve reliable, secure, and performant APIs that apply Kensho’s AI capabilities to customer workflows. Collaborate with product, machine learning, infrastructure, design, and engineering colleagues on architecture and implementation, while contributing through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.

Requirements: Requires at least five years of experience developing customer-facing APIs on a team, including experience building RESTful APIs and translating business requirements into technical plans. Candidates should have strong software lifecycle knowledge, communication skills, reasoning about loosely coupled systems, proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and architecture, and demonstrable technical depth in at least one area.
