Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, develop, maintain, and optimize C and C++ software for Linux-based and embedded systems, including software that interfaces with hardware and operating system components. Debug hardware/software integration issues and contribute to reliable, high-performance semiconductor test platforms using modern software development practices.

Requirements: Candidates need strong C and C++ skills for embedded and system-level applications, experience debugging hardware/software integration issues and multithreaded applications, and familiarity with interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, or PCIe. Strong communication skills, experience with Agile practices, and availability to work on-site five days per week in North Reading or Sunnyvale are required; Python and test or instrumentation experience are preferred.
