Senior Software Engineer – Mainframe Modernization

Job Description

Develop and maintain shared software, libraries, developer tools, and automation frameworks for Broadcom Mainframe product teams, integrating modern CI/CD and AI-assisted workflows into z/OS environments. Collaborate across product, UX, and engineering teams, resolve complex issues, support agile delivery, and mentor colleagues.

Requirements: Requires hands-on experience with IBM z/OS, system components, product maintenance, and software installation using SMP/e and z/OSMF, along with proficiency in Java, Python, or Groovy and experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins. Applicants need a bachelor's degree and at least five years of software development experience, or a master's degree and at least three years; automation experience is required, while RESTful services and cloud interfaces are preferred.
