Founding Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Own full-stack product development, focusing on backend systems, data infrastructure, AI agents, and integrations with e-commerce and marketing platforms. Shape the technical architecture and engineering practices, mentor the existing engineer, and work with the founders to turn business priorities into reliable software.

Requirements: Requires strong full-stack experience with a backend focus, hands-on ownership of production AI or LLM systems, and experience integrating AI systems with third-party APIs. Candidates should understand data infrastructure and event-driven systems, have experience in a high-growth company or startup, and be able to lead and mentor while actively coding; Python and TypeScript are relevant, and four office days per week in New York are required.
