About the Opportunity

- This role is for a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead - Java, focused on owning the roadmap and tech architecture to deliver innovative experiences across multiple applications. The position requires building robust, scalable, and high-performance distributed platforms while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to balance short-term business needs with long-term governance.

Role \& Responsibilities

- Own roadmap and tech architecture to build the best experiences and innovative use cases across multiple applications.

- Make robust technology stack choices based on careful analysis of business objectives.

- Help improve code quality through CI-CD automation and code reviews.

- Enable entire app life cycle - concept, prototype, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.

- Collaborate with product, design and other engineering teams to drive execution across all platforms while balancing short-term business requirements with long term governance objectives.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products.

- Collaborate well with several product engineering teams to articulate requirements and system design.

- Demonstrate great interpersonal skills, deep technical ability, and a portfolio of successful execution.

- Lead, inspire, and grow excellent engineering teams.

- Assess new technologies and make pragmatic choices that help guide us towards a long-term vision.

- Maintain an open, curious, and bold approach to problem-solving and striving for the best solution.

Skills \& Qualifications

Must-Have

- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.

- 5 years in Software Product Development.

- Solid Expertise in any server side language - Java, C or Rust.

- Understanding of high performance, high available and scalable distributed platforms.

- Experience in designing and building cross-platform technical solutions.

- Good understanding of design patterns.

- Natural ability and inclination towards mentorship \& building a strong team.

- Entrepreneurial mindset to own the problem and build best in class solutions.

- Ability to execute and thrive in a fast pace environment.

- Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail.

- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

- Prior experience in Payments Domain is a plus but not mandatory.
