Controls Engineer

Job Description

Design and integrate a roll-to-roll production line, including web transport, unwind and rewind stands, tension control, drives, and PLC/HMI/SCADA automation. Lead line-level data capture, commissioning, and safety coordination as the unit operations are connected.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering field, preferably electrical or chemical engineering, and at least three years of hands-on experience with roll-to-roll production or pilot lines, drives, tension control, and automation. Candidates should have PLC and HMI programming and servo/VFD commissioning experience, at least one year using MATLAB, C++, or Python, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical components and work extended hours when needed.
