Software Engineer, Embedded Systems/Firmware, Pixel Bootloader

Job Description

Develop and deliver Pixel bootloader and firmware features in C and Rust, and support new devices from pre-silicon development through production and in-market operation. Plan and implement low-level system features, and debug complex issues involving silicon, hardware, firmware, software, and environmental interactions.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, along with at least two years of software development in C and two years working with embedded operating systems. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree, experience with algorithms, debugging and tracing tools, embedded firmware or bootloader development, SoC bring-up, and Rust.
