Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, build, and maintain resilient, scalable accounting services that support payments to content creators and rights holders across Disney Movies and TV. Lead feature development, collaborate across engineering, product, and finance, uphold engineering quality, mentor colleagues, and help resolve production incidents.

Requirements: Requires at least five years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale fault-tolerant systems, with strong Java and Spring skills, REST API experience, distributed systems knowledge, Apache Kafka, AWS, and CI/CD practices. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required, along with effective collaboration and communication; financial systems, SAP integrations, observability, performance tuning, and enterprise security knowledge are preferred.
