Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop and customize machine operator interfaces for packaging machinery, configure communication with PLCs and plant-level applications, and integrate third-party equipment. Debug and prepare interfaces for factory acceptance testing, collaborate with automation programmers and customers, review operating manuals, and provide customer-site or remote support.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field is required, along with experience developing operator or user interfaces in a manufacturing environment. The role calls for knowledge of design patterns, MVC architecture, and debugging; Java, Swing UI, and Apache Ant are preferred, while Git, Jira, and NetBeans are a plus.
