(USA) Senior, Software Engineer

Job Description

Lead HDMI-CEC and device interoperability efforts across Walmart-VIZIO Smart TV platforms, including automation, diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and integration across firmware, hardware, audio, and connected-device ecosystems. Assess platform risks and release readiness, collaborate with engineering partners, mentor engineers, and recommend improvements to platform stability and customer experience.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with at least five years of experience in embedded software, systems, integration, quality engineering, or consumer electronics; the formal minimum qualifications also allow a bachelor's degree plus three years of software engineering experience. Candidates should know HDMI-CEC, ARC/eARC, HDMI interoperability, and embedded Linux, and have experience with automation, diagnostics, complex debugging, firmware analysis, and Python or Shell scripting.
