Staff Software Engineer, Android Kernel and Systems

Job Description

Develop and ship Android kernel and system components, including the Generic Kernel Image, for devices across Android product categories. Contribute to open-source projects and maintain a reliable, secure foundation for the Android ecosystem.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, at least eight years working with embedded operating systems, three years in software design and architecture, and experience with C/C++ and Linux kernel development. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD, experience with data structures and algorithms, Rust, Android, and system software areas such as firmware, drivers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
