Senior Staff AI/ML Research Engineer, Cloud AI Research

Job Description

Architect agent frameworks, state machines, planning methods, and high-velocity prototyping approaches, while leading research into agent architectures and self-improving foundation models. Lead enterprise Forward Deployed Engineering missions, develop generalizable agents, advise senior partners, and publish research breakthroughs.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, at least eight years of software development experience, and eight years leading large-scale ML system design and infrastructure optimization. Candidates must have experience building agents and designing or evaluating LLMs and multimodal foundation models; a Ph.D., leading research publications, enterprise technical leadership, and expertise in reinforcement learning and alignment are preferred.
