Principal Software Engineer, Anti-Abuse

Job Description

Define and lead Snowflake’s platform-wide technical strategy for abuse and fraud prevention, detection, and response. Architect scalable telemetry and risk-scoring systems, embed proactive controls into high-risk products, develop automated mitigations, and mentor engineers across teams.

Requirements: Requires 12 or more years of software engineering experience, including substantial work in anti-abuse, fraud detection, platform trust, or threat mitigation, and a record of architecting large-scale distributed services using Java, C++, or Python. Candidates should have experience with cloud or multi-tenant platforms, event processing and detection systems, attacker threat modeling, and cross-functional product and security partnerships; a degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is expected.
