Staff Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop and maintain VS Code extensions and Electron-based IDE features, including AI-assisted coding, collaborative editing, and semiconductor-focused visualizations. Integrate the IDE with backend services, optimize cross-platform performance, collaborate on user experience, and guide junior developers.

Requirements: Requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in desktop application development, with strong TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and IDE extension experience. Candidates should also understand state management, cross-platform design, performance optimization, and CI/CD; experience with AI developer tools, Electron internals, language parsing, access controls, or EDA workflows is preferred.
