Backend Engineer, Java - Remote

Job Description

Design, develop, test, and deploy Java backend applications, APIs, and microservices, while contributing to Agile delivery and maintaining code quality through reviews and automated tests. Collaborate with product and DevSecOps teams, troubleshoot and prevent application issues, maintain technical documentation, and improve development workflows.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, at least five years of Java-focused software development experience, and proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, messaging, containers, databases, AWS, and automated testing. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance; experience with SAFe/Scrum, CI/CD, Linux, and infrastructure-as-code is also expected.
