Senior Principal II Opto-Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Lead and support the design, development, integration, testing, and production of optomechanical military systems, including hardware for lasers, receivers, sensors, and multi-axis beam directors or gimbals. Provide technical leadership to hardware engineering teams and collaborate across disciplines to develop and support complex EO/IR products.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 12 years of experience, or at least 10 years with a master’s degree, including DoD military electronics product development and hardware team leadership. Candidates should have mechanical design and analysis expertise, experience with EO/IR technologies and CAD, familiarity with FEA and GD&T, strong communication skills, and eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance.
